Kristóf Hajós

Kristof Hajos (born 30 August 1976) is a Hungarian musician, lyricist and singer of The Unbending Trees. Hajos is a direct descendant of the Scottish Széchenyi Chain Bridge and Budapest's tunnel's engineer Adam Clark.
After secondary school he joined the Franciscans, from where he was fired after a year.〔(Paphides, Pete (2008) "Sad, sweet sound of autumn" , The Times (The Knowledge supplement, p. 26), 22 November 2008 )〕 Throughout the 1990s he participated in various musical projects, until 2000 when he decided to quit music due to lack of success and pursue a career as a teacher. In 2006 he uploaded demos under the name of The Dead Nun Returns for other singers to Myspace, which were found by the British musician, producer Ben Watt, who consecutevily signed him with his two co-musicians.
He currently lives and works in Budapest as a procurement professional for IBM as well as a musician.〔(Hogwood, Ben (2008) "The Unbending Trees interview", MusicOMH )〕
